Kitesurfing school in Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt)
Welcome to the King of Lagoon Kitesurf School, situated within the Laguna Vista Beach Albatros Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh city. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced kitesurfer, we offer courses to suit your skill level. Our location boasts ideal conditions for riders of all levels, with a spacious standing area, shallow waters, and consistent winds. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art kitesurfing equipment, and our dedicated team, composed of experienced and IKO certified instructors, will guide you through the learning process in a safe and efficient manner. With over 12 years of experience in the field, we utilize modern teaching techniques. Upon completing your course, we’ll provide you with an IKO certificate as proof of your achievement.
LESSONS
Beginner course package total Session 1 – Session 4 (8 Hours) including IKO License plus 1 day rental of equipment = 350 € If you want to refresh a course, if we should help you to learn your first jumps or improve them please do not hesitate and contact us. We can arrange an individual course for you.
Session 1 (100 €) 2 hours
- Theory (Intro to the wind and power)
- Training kite
- Set up the kite
- Safety systems
- First piloting
Session 2 (90 €) 2 hours
- Flying kite with one hand
- Launching and landing the kite
- Walking with the kite
- Body dragging in the water
- Flying kite in power zone
- Relaunch the kite from the water
Session 3 (90 €) 2 hours
- Upwind body-drag (one-handed)
- Body dragging with the board
- Self-rescue and full pack down
- Water start theory
- Steady pull with the kite
- Water-start in both directions
Session 4 (90 €) 2 hours
- Water-start
- Riding in both directions
- Gaining speed on the board
- Right of priority rules
- Upwind riding
RENTAL
You have the option to either rent a full set of equipment or select individual items, such as a kite/bar, board, harness, water shoes, wet suit, or helmet. Additionally, if you prefer, you can store your personal equipment at our station.

SUP
Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) has evolved from surfing, involving standing on a board and propelling oneself with a paddle. It has gained popularity as a versatile water activity suitable for various environments, from serene lakes to challenging ocean waves.
Windsurfing
Windsurfing, a surface water sport that amalgamates elements of surfing and sailing, involves riding on a board while maneuvering a sail attached to a mast. This exhilarating activity offers a unique blend of skill and balance, making it a thrilling choice for water adventure enthusiasts.
